Inclusion, diversity and equity

DIVERSITY is about recognizing, respecting and valuing differences. 

EQUITY is the guarantee of fair treatment, advancement, opportunity and access for all individuals while striving to identify and eliminate barriers that have prevented the full participation of some groups.

INCLUSION means authentically bringing traditionally excluded individuals and/or groups into processes, activities, and decision/policy making in a way that shares power and ensures equal access to opportunities and resources.

Diversity, equity and inclusion are unequivocally essential for a great world, but they have been challenging for us, the world as a whole. We acknowledge that we humans haven’t always lived up to these principles throughout our history. It is in the trying and the striving to do better that we discover new values of wisdom, devotion and achievement – and we define and redefine what it means to be a real, strong person.

Sarclusions intention is to signal and address the unconscious biases and preconceptions with humor, satire and witty comments. We trust that this will cause people to think about the subjects again and come to a better conclusion.
